Multilayer barrier materials

Joint Venture “AMIPAK”, an open joint stock venture, produces multilayer barrier LDPE and PET-backed materials under the trade mark of AMIVAC.

A PET barrier layer ensures gas and oxygen impermeability within all the entire period of storage.
The inner layer of LDPE film is made of special polymers which add slip characteristics and a wider range of temperatures for heat sealing to the material and also increase the seam strength and ensure appropriate welding conditions in any environment.

The material is widely-employed, for eg. in heat sealing machines (Form-Fill-Seal) as well as for the production of trays, packaging for sausage, fish and meat semi-finished products, dairy products, medical tools, equipment and instruments, sanitary ware and perfume and cosmetics.

It is recommended to use AMIVAC materials in different industries depending on their thickness, purpose and method of packing.

In addition to that Joint Venture “AMIPAK”, an open joint stock venture, produces multilayer barrier materials in combination with different types of polymer film backs (polyamide, EVOH) including metalized ones and with an interlayer print.

Thickness is 250-750 µm

It is used for the production of formed vacuum packaging and sealed containers.

Thickness is 150-250 µm – for blister and skin packing

Thickness is 40-100 µm –for the production of vacuum packets, coffee packs, packing for tea, sauces, mayonnaise and ketchups.

Thickness is 40-100 µm – for flexible vacuum packing such as coating material.

Thickness is 40-100 µm - for flexible vacuum packing such as coating material.

The material has a PEEL effect on PE (can be called “easy open”) and ensures safety and comfort for end-users.

Thickness is 40-100 µm - for flexible vacuum packing such as coating material. Such an additive as “antifog” is added to the material to avoid condensate while packing.
